Meet Our Founder

Pastor Davis is a graduate of Tennessee State University, where he majored in Music and  Philosophy and Religion. He also holds a Master of Biblical Counseling from Luther Rice College and Seminary and an Educational Specialist degree from the University of West Georgia. 

In 2006, Pastor Davis was licensed to preach the Gospel by his spiritual father, Bishop Kelvin L. Leavy, Sr. (Nashville, TN)  and ordained an elder through the World Assemblies of Restoration (Baltimore, MD) where Bishop James D. Nelson, Sr. is the apostolic father and presiding prelate. Pastor Derwin has several years of pastoral experience, beginning in 2008 when he founded Life Restoration Christian Center in Stone Mountain, Georgia. From 2016-2021, Pastor Davis served as the senior pastor of Pleasant View Baptist Church in Covington, Georgia. On August 29. 2021, a group of 40 individuals gathered for a vision casting meeting for the Reach Church. The Reach Church will officially launch on Resurrection Sunday, April 17, 2022. 

In addition to pastoring a thriving spiritual community of believers, Pastor Davis is a residential mortgage loan officer, talented musician, music education consultant, and pastoral counselor.
